This weekend I ran a R7 glow plug the temp reached 315 degrees. Then I put in a R5 and the temp dropped. I thought it was higher the number the colder it was can you recommend one to use. [Confused]

What are R7 and R5 glowplugs..., we suggest to use the original RB Concept glowplugs with the RB Concept engines.

In case of the .28 engines(TM728), we suggest the #01055-7 to start with.

As for glowplug numbers, the higher the number the colder the glowplug, but this does not mean that due to this the engine runs cooler, if you want then engine to run cooler, you need to richen up the main-needle.
