I have a RB 21 and looking at the 28. I run the unlimited version of the Tmaxx. the RB 21 is a killer on the track. 67 spur with 18 bell. 7.5 diffs. The question is will I gain usable power for racing on the track. Or will it be just a monster that wont handle well. Like I said we race the truck and no parking lot tricks. What say you.

i have the tm728 in a savage.. i also ran a ws7II in it.. the biggest differance is bottom end torque.. you can gear it much higher with much usuable power, vs the ws7II.. but it also does not rev as high as the ws7II..

that is sort of what I was thinking. The rb 21 I am running now gives plent of power with the gear ratio's I am running now. it would be fun to torque it up on the lower end but suspect in the final equation I will not gain much in a race with just a wheelie monter. torque is nice but ya gotta keep the wheels hooked up to win. Already with the 21 I break loose when the truck shifts to second and has to be controlled...lol...my weight is good only about 10 lbs at the most so I think I will stay with the sw 21. thx for the info.
