Has anyone installed a TM928 in 1/8 Scale buggy?

I'm looking at the possibility of putting a TM928 in my Kyosho 777 SP1, not for racing just for fun so breaking the .21 barrier is not an issue. I know my motor mounts are not tall enough to clear the chassis, but I'm not sure what issues would result due to the added motor length as I've not assembled the car yet.

Any suggestions or tips would be appreciated, thanks.

i had my 928 in my K2 to break it in. i didn't have any issues with the motor mounts. the 928 is wider then the ws72 i had in. but i loosen the screws, realigned the mounts and no problems.
to cold here to run outside. been running in a indoor track. the track is tight so you can't get much speed up. 1/2 throttle clears triple easy. bottom end is crazy. probably need to go up a tooth on c.b. putting the 928 into a onfa blazer truggy.

you can probally go up 2-3 teeth due to the added bottom end torque..
