Rody, how is the Race Version of the .28 coming along? A few months back you said it would be completed by the end of the year? Are we there yet? Any details? 8 port or 11 ports?
Thanks Rody

The TM728 are underway to us and when they have arrived in our warehouse and checked by our quality control they will be shipped to the distributors who pre-ordered them and in the same time released on our website.

I do not think this is worth it, we have changed 80% of the internal parts compared to the TM728. Of course you can always try and exhange things but I do not think that the endresult will be what you are looking for.

Sounds good. Thanks Rody for the update. Now all I have to do is find a LHS to pre-order! Thanks again.

Is that TM928 that race version you are talking about. Or is it a other version, that i have not seen in the forms yet.
...mydixie, Let us first see what this engine does in the customers hands and then see if they still want more power...
I have the TM 728 in my Savage and can't believe the power... I have it geared high as possible and still spin the wheels at 1/4 throttle...

Just received my tracking number, should be here this Friday.
Rody, I see you have a "Run-in" service now.
ROD - Factory Pre-Run Services on Any New RB Concept Engine.
How do we go about getting this service? Do we order it @ the time when we order the engine. Or can we send you the engine for break-in. (for the next time when I order an engine) Thanks Rody

We are testing in this direction but the difficulty is that when you want more power the compression is also needed and this is where the pullstarters are not strong enough anymore.

i do not have the issue with the compression/and pull start.. not that hard for me to loosen the glowplug to get it running.. one of the reasons im one of the few that lack pull start issues that others always do.. ive seen many waste pull starts when a simple looseening of the glow plug would solve the issue.. but i also understand th edrag of pull start will loose a tad bit of performance.. but thats not a issue as i cannot feel that little insignificant differance..

Maybe you can work with the more compression but unfortunately there are more customers who run into problems with this and this we want to avoid. Loosening the glowplug helps only when the engine has too much fuel inside. What mekes the engine hard to start, especially at the beginning is the piston getting stuck in the sleeve due to the tight fitting and engine not being at the right temperature.
As for the pullstart system, the internal drag will take away between 5 to 10% of the engine its power and this is not insignificant for me...

Rody, is the 728 and 928 the same as all other RB's in that the cases are your own, and NovaRossi just makes the parts to spec for you, or is it similar to the other nova based companies in that it shares the case and internals from the Top 528?
