The HSN4 and LSN6 is a starting point, this is normally on the rich side but depending on the elevation where you use the engine, the weather conditions and fuel you are using can make the final settings differ a lot.
It is a good idea to look at the glowplug condition, what is the best is that the glowplug-wire should always look as new. For the shimming, I do not completely understand what you want to do here but yes, you can use 0.5mm also.

My purpose to adding shim is let the engine turn down quickly when the throttle off....good prepare for jumping and turn to the corner
I am Using 25% nitro TORNADO FUEL...and RB #8 glow plug for top speed performance without reducing power due to over heating, outside temp 34-36 (hot condition) celcius, Trophical humidity especialy in Indonesia this setting for my WS7 II engine(0.6mm Shimming) for best performance LSN 4.8turn and HSN 3.2 turn. the glow plug condition keep wet at surrounding and keep shinning at the wire this setting for 11 am to 2 PM. afternoon setting I am using RB #6 for better idling
1. Any suggestion needle setting for TM728 as your best experience? Thank alot if u answer this hints for me 2. Is necessarry using cold glow plug # 8 at hot condition such as my WS7 II? sofar #8 adding more top speed at Hot condition. 3. Rody.. at my area uneasy get shim for .28 engine...If I use 0.6 mm what the different much if I using 0.5mm...0.6mm is OK for TM728 engine

1) There are never any fixed needle positions I can give to you because there are too many things which can chnange these settings. Best sting is to start of with the base settings and work from there.
2) Yes, this is a general rule, however the colder the glowplug the more top speed power but also less low rpm power. You could also try a #7 to see how this works out for you.
3) Both are O.K. when using 25% nitro, the engine is not very sensitive if you do not try and squeeze all the power out of it.
Now I am using 0.6 mm shimming 0.3 and 0.1 factory default, adding 2x0.1mm result: very good idle and turn down quickly after the throttle off
My question rody...if I add shimming more than 0.6mm the compression of engine will be decreasing or not

In a way yes, but what changes the most is the point of ignition. In general if you décompress the engine you take less risks as when you take out shims and you can gain some top speed, however you alter the low rpm power of you engine.

My LHS carries 20% and 30%. I know that going from 25% to 30% requires the addition of a 0.1mm shim. Does this mean that I should remove a 0.1mm shim if I'm running 20%?

No real need to remove a shim when you are using 20% nitro, unless you are looking for more power then you can always switch to 30% and add 1 shim of 0.1mm.
