I was wondering what the status was on the .28 race version. Novarossi has their .28 race out with 8 ports and a turbo plug. Are you still working on some form of a rotostart system? Didn't know if this project was getting pushed off until next year.

We have been testing the race version and are finalizing the production.

The adaptation of the rotostart system has not been a complete succes(we exploded some of the rotostart gearboxes) but are continueing the research in this.

We hope to finalize the race version before the end of this year.

I am curious at to why the rotostart gearboxes are exploding?? are the gears not hard enough??or maybe to hard??. To much flex in the plastic backplate??. This is very interesting.

Its is the compression of the engine and the kik-back when the engine has a little too much fuel inside.
In order to get some decent power out of the engine you need a little compression and it seems that the rotostart gearbox is not holding out long enough when trying to start.
We are trying other solutions...
