30% will give you more power and so will put more stress on the engine, however the lifespan does not have to be shorter, as long as the engine's carburetor setting is right and no dirt/dust is going through the engine you should be O.K.

More nitro, more explosion(also earlier) and this needs to be compensated, if not the early explosion inside the combustion chamber makes a detonation and damage.

After using the search function I have come up with another question which I have been unable to find an awnser to as of yet.
I read that detonation is the combustion of the air fuel mixture before the piston reaches TDC (which I allready know is not good). As you said detonation could result if using 30% withought the extra 0.1mm head shim. However my next question is: If I where to run 30% and use a colder glow-plug, and still keep the stock 0.3mm shims would this solve the problem of detonation?

This indeed would be possible since the colder glowplug gives you a later explosion point, however I myself would not take the risk and just add an extra head-shim.
