Would using an 8mm restrictor/venturi help this engine. I am not sure what it might be needed for but alot of local racers use 8mm venturis in their RB .21 engines.

if i rember correctly the venturi is for fuel milage.. the 28 lasts a long time on a tank of fuel.. but if lets say you had a buggy and were tryign to make a certain time period and running short by a lap or so a venturi would give the ability to gain a extra amount of time to finish.. it may also tune down the engine a tad.. aka less air less performance.. or if you wanted more bottom end a smaller one will raise the torque also like in a real car
my ws7II will last around 6 min on a tank of fuel in my buggy.. the savage with the huge tank on it will go around 12 min.. the 28 is pretty effecent like the ws7II...

well i know this is against the rules.. but i have to ask.. since they seem to have used the rb block and stuff.. the rossi 28 3 port has a 8mm venturi in it. i got a heck of a deal from a LHS who wanted me to test it out and compair it to the rb28..
so the question is this.. can the venturi make it easier to tune? or is it their timing on it that affects that?
im sorry to step on toes and upset anyone, but tuning the 2 is completly different and the add in of a venturi seems to be the only real differance besides number of ports..
again im sorry to offend anyone, just courious since i do not have a spare venturi to see if this is why..
