[Eek!] ok in the past i know there was a batch of ws7II carbs that stuck due to tolerances.. ok great, send carb in and get it replaced.. i understand that.. but im having a issue..

from what i read on the ws7II carb issue im assuming it is the same as for the 28, carb even looks the same, when its running it does not seem to be a issue, but as soon as i shut it off it is now locking up and will not move.. engine temp is 245f, outside temp is 84f.

did we ever find a do it yourself fix to the carb issue or is it just send it back and get replacement?

i pulled the slide wonderign if i had burred it with adjusting the LSN on the idle stop screw and all looks great as in no burs.

anyone have suggestions to fix it myself?

also.. im not blaiming quality or anything.. i know its a 1st run production engine and sometimes mass testing (aka 1st shipment to public) finds a few flaws.. im just looking for a easy way to fix the issue rather then mailing stuff around

What we do here to fix this is we use an abrasive powder or liquid to increase the tollerance between the slide and its housing.

You could try this if you want but don't go to far.
