Hey guys where did you guys get that list price??
What will the quickest way to get this new RB in Canada be??? Usually my LHS in VAncouver, BC take forever to get engines and stuff. Its always faster for me through ebay or US online shops.

thanks

Ron here is a list for list price in the US...
http://www.sigmatrading.com

or you can go to distrubutors on the main page, and select USA. They also have an option for Canada, but no webpage.

dont you need a crank for any 21 RB eng-since they have to be drilled to have that pin stick out to engage the pullstart parts-thats why they cost so much to be moded?

the only disappointment I have right now is to see the engine case is grey instead of black. IMO black is more pretty. Just like the WS7II
But the price looks good too me!

I'm hoping the pullstart unit will be a direct no-mod fit for my WS7II...

you better stop hoping becuase it won't be, unless Rody has some magical way to make the crank spin without a hole or pin.

Slant,

I ordered mine from www.acehardwarehobbies.com. They are taking pre-orders now, and they're site states middle of april delivery. I talked to the guy on the phone today, and thats what they have been told, but it may change. He also wasn't sure how many they would get in the first shipment. He had 50 pre-orders already, but I'm #12, so thinking I should get one of the firsts.

50 pre-orders already? thats crazy.

I'm betting soon Rody will be very happy with his decision to branch off and cater to a new market.

We MT guys like to spend money for massive power, I think the .28 will end the quest until MT technology improves even more, I can only imagine...

Race version is under development, our first goal is to get the first TM727 engines finished and supplied.

Yes, the TM728 has a separate head-button.

I am just a little curious. What will be the difference between the TM727 and the TM728? I assume one is the race version and the other is standard? Will one be a pullstart and the other not? I am wanting to put one in my truggy but I do not want a pull start. Anyway, any info will be helpfull.

Will the engine be compatible with any of these roto-start back plates?

thanks

The running time of an engine depends very much on your driving style. The only way to find out is to try.

As for the availability of the engine, first batch of TM728 engines are planned to leave our warehouse middle next week on a first come first go base.

Thank you for your patience.

That does not mean much..., what I was trying to say is that if you drive it very wild(hard) the engine will use more fuel then when you drive it smoothly.

Not yet possible, let us do one thing at the time..., we first need to release the TM728 for real.

nope canot find anything from any other engines to make roto work.. if the block was not as big where the back plate goes a xtm set up would have fit.. but those who trust silicone could probally make it work.. just not me.. i dont trust it that much..

ill ask the tuning issue in a different thread..
