Please any info or just a tease to keep us hoping for a big block pullstarted(or rotostarted)engine.

Nothing beats the quality of RB engines I have a rody modified c3worlds98b(from 1998) and it still runs excellent.

I am getting tired of the quality of these cheap throw away monster truck engines we need something quality please.

I really really hope so because nothing compares to the high quality and power of an rb engine.

I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Hopefully it will be in time for spring or summer.

Hope it is in time for your razorback project Monstermaxx, but judging your reaction it is. Looking forward to both project RB Concept pullstart and Unlimited Engineering Razorback. With kind regards,

Marko

Hey Rody, I am also really excited about this engine coming out! Does this mean that more information will be out sometime in February about the engine or are they going to be available to us in Feb?

Im in I have a WS7-2 in my buggy and its the best engine I have ever had. I think a .21 5 port S with a pull start would be a very good T Maxx or monster truck engine. but a 7 or a 9 port .30 would rule the world in the truck engines. By the way where is that sign up list?

First tests reveal that there is much more torque with the same rpm compared to a .21
Looks promising... [Smile]

I dont know if this has been answered but I hope it has a pullstart and is roto start compatible.
Because without a pullstart it cannot be used for monster trucks.

im personally running a pull-start modified rody modified c5.... do you think this motor will have more torque for a monster truck? i already need a new block for my c5 as i broke the mounting tab off the block by hitting the head on a rock on the beach...

i just love my RB power and reliabiliy... a big block would be very tempting... a big block pullstart would be irresistible...

Great news about the new big block engine. I have been trying to decide on a replacement for the HPI Nitrostar 25 in My Savage and had almost decided on a Sirio S27Pro.

I know it's early days but do I take it that everyone would suggest I hold out for the new Rody big block?

The outside dimensions are similar to an .21 engine but inside you have a .28, so we called it a big-block.

I like the way you think Rody, that is gonna be one nasty motor, I can only imagine the torque it puts out.

did you lose rpm's versus the .21's?

This is great news. I have been looking around for a new mill for my supermaxx, looks like I found it.

A .28 in a .21 case, very nice work Rody. Gotta love RB engines!!

Hopefully MM's Razorback will be out soon so we won't have to worry about the pull start version.

Since we're letting cat's out of bags, do you have any new announcements MonsterMaxx? [Cool]

Just out of interest will there be a Non Pull Start version availible? I run a Dom truck which sits pretty on a starter box so given the choice would rather not have a pull start.

Come on, just make something up. Then we can pound on you when it's a little late!

It'll be fun.

Never thought I would spend a couple grand on a kitten, but I guess there's always a first time for everything.

Hey Rody, I am entering the HPI Savage Challenge event in Japan which is being held in April. I would love to use the new engine then. Is this going to be possible? We would all appreciate any information that you can give us!

All I can say to you is that we do our best and that to get the right product it must be ready first, so when ready you will find this info on our website.

Pricing is not fixed yet due to some changes we would like to make after we have tested.
