Hi, I have a V15T-Rody with manifold 01751-193 and inline pipe 01851-TP. I am trying to mount those on a Serpent-835 4WD but the mainfold goes in to the belt for the 4WD. The manifold starts to bend down to early. I need a manifold that is straight longer after the engine before i bending down to the pipe. Any suggestions?

you have probably sorted the problem now but i found that the conical manifold does just rub on the belt on the 835 i felt on my car it wasnt enough that i worried about it but if you run the standard manifold the non conical one then it is clear sorry cant remember part number

Can you heat up manifold with propane torch and then slightly bend it to get longer straight length? Place a tubing bender spring inside manifold or piece of aluminum/steel dowel of slightly smaller ID diameter before bending manifold so pipe does not crush/distort. Just take your time, evenly heat manifold and gently bend same. Try it on a old/damaged manifold first to practice. I've done this successfully several times. If you have a welder you could also cut pipe and weld it back to get deminsion/shape you want.

We solved this problem: (don't look at my old pipe [Wink] ) http://rcpics.rc-racingcars.com/diversen/gallery/albums/toon/DSCN1026.jpg. Check the pulley's. You need to grind a flat spot for the pulley in your middle shaft!
Good luck.
