First of all, I don't want to start a flame about which shop is the best, cheapest, etc. I know this is not the correct place to discuss this.
What I would like to know is how american RC stores can offer RB engines a lot cheaper than any store in Europe. Since RB engines are made in Europe, and the fact that these engines have to be transported overseas, and the fact that the dollar is very low compared to the euro, I can't stop asking myself: why do we pay in europe 100 euro more for the same stuff? I know the marketshare in the US is quite a bit bigger, but it really shouldn't make that big of a difference, imho.

There is firts the problem of the difference between the Euro and the US Dollar and the second thing is that the pricing used in the USA are without taxes, these taxes normally should be applied when the goods come into your country + custome taxes. Once this is all done the pricing should be the same. Also the US shops take less profit(especially the internet sales) because they do not always give any service after.

Yes but with the low US dollar, US shops need to buy the engines here, which means it should even be more expensive for them. I was comparing internet shops only. I highly regret it that there is no big European internet shop that has competetive prices with some of the US shops (Amain, RC Compound), not to mention the Asian stores.
