I just received my new C6 RB L2G and started with the running-in procedure.

The current temperature is 27ºC (80ºF) and the engine does not exceed 70ºC (158ºF) even with the heatsink wrapped.

What can I do to reach the required temperature?

Do not worry too much about getting the temps so high, as long as you take it easy and let the engine run rich.

I just ran my C6 L2G for the first time. I could not get any higher than 148 degrees f out of it. I understand this is not a problem for this engine. Why would it not be a problem for the L2G, but would be a problem for the C6BB7T?

By the way. I have NEVER had a new engine start on the first bump of the starter box! NEVER! This thing just wants to run! Thanks!
