i have just got a c6bb i have run about 12 tanks throught it. and it is still mega tight
cant even turn the flywheel by hand is this normal.

Yes and this is a good sign. You should still preheat the engine. I preheat my engines for at least the first 5L (best would be to always preheat). The compression will stay high for long time then, if you don't run it too lean, of course. After 12 tanks the basic run-in is done but the engines need more time to be completely ready in my opinion. My S7 increased power and rpm further and further until the first 3L have gone through it. Since then it is still at that niveau. With my C6 BB I proceeded the same way and all is perfect.
