My clutch is used on a c5 and i'm rinning the kanai flyweel with the composite shoes drilled with a 3mm hole but i'm going to change back to tha aluminium ones the clutch keeps getting to high temps with the comp shoes and the 1.1mm springs and i'm running a 14 tooth clutchbell

I just got done pulling my hair out trying to get my ws7II to come off the line without bogging.here is what I found to work. Mugen 1.1 springs, kyosho black shoes trimmed on the inside were they touch the clutch nut. Trimming allows the shoes to sit in closer and provide awsome bottom end snap. I also used the K-2 flywheel. The aluminum shoes were engaging to soon.Make sure your needles are set correctly and the WS7II is awsome.

Do not judge all aluminum clutch shoes as they are not the same. The blue Kyosho aluminum shoes a soft and grab causing bogging and high temps. Try Mugen 1.1 springs and Mugen aluminum shoes and a 13 tooth bell. In europe you may need 14 teeth but not on any US track I have seen. With the Mugen springs be sure to use the Kanai II clutch nut or a Mugen nut. The groove in the Kyosho nut causes the springs to cant slightly and causes the clutch to malfunction.

the best flywheel & clutch setup i have found for the mp7.5 is using the lightweight K-factory flywheel with the Mugen alloy shoes & either Kyosho or Mugen 1 or 1.1mm springs the K-factory flywheel comes with a really good nut the springs locate & work perfectly oh yeah. the pins are the exact right size for the Mugen alloy shoes so you don't have to drill them out like you do when you want to fit them to a Kyosho flywheel plus the K-factory ones are real cheap to buy too works for me
