Rody,
Why is the wide open method so different than what comes with the motor? Is the wide open better? Why? Do you run any tanks at Idle for the wide open? I know you say 1 tank at 80,90,100c. What should the last 2 tanks temps be? How many tanks are wheels up? All tanks will be run on truck. Sorry so many questions, just trying get all my questions answered. [Confused]

In my point of view the WOT is better because in this way you are sure the engine gets enough fuel because the too much fuel will keep the rpm down.

I personally never run 1 tank at idle but I reccomend this so I am sure that the engine has a resonable carburetor setting at idle because otherwise it will not run for 1 fueltank at idle.

After your first tank I suggest you just driver around and gently let the engine get used to the higher rpm's, that's explained in the instruction.
This you have to spread over 5 tanks and so at the end you are at full power, just take care that before and after these runs you try not to overheat the engine.
