Rody, could you please explain your reasoning behind your current break-in procedure for your engines?

To me, 1 tank idle, 3 tanks WOT really really really rich, 3 tanks WOT really really rich, 3 tanks really rich, seems like this would wear out the piston and sleeve from running so much fuel at such a low tempature. Or is there something I’m missing from running them in like this?

To me it makes better since to run them in at a constant tempature, but keep the rpm's low. Is there anything that you don't like about a break-in method like this?

I'm getting ready to break-in my 5th RB engine "can you tell yet i'm very pleased with them?" 2 of them i have used your break-in method, and 2 i have used mine. Being there all differant engines i cannot compare weather one method was better then the other, but all are running awesome.

Thanks again for making some kick ass engines.

There are many ways to run in the engines and everybody has his opinion for this..., seems to me yours is O.K.
