hi i bought 1-peice RB 086 pipe. it came with 2 springs, that are pretty small.(not talking about the 3 smaller ones)

I was wondering what these are for.

Thanks,
Mike

The 3(smaller one's) springs are to connect the manifold and pipe. The 2 other springs are to connect the manifold to the engine.

Most high performance engines (at least Novarossi produced) have 2 small tabs on each side of the case. Those are for the small springs.

If you have another type of engine you must get a wrap arround spring.

Conect one end of the spring to the manifold/header and then the other end to the tab on the side of the engine then do the same on the other side....how hard can it be to work that out [Roll Eyes]

And if it really doesn't have the side tabs. Than you can always link the 2 springs together, and get it all the way around the engine case to the other side of the manifold....
