Is it possible to have this much speed, and bottom end and only be running at 200 degrees? This engine is fast! My tires look like four saucers rolling down the track. I have some fine tuning to do,one question though when I gun the throttle it wants to bog down, but when I tap it to get it to a certain rpm then gun it everything is ok. I am running 20% O'donnel and the stock shim is still on the engine. Should I remove the shim? Or just spend some time fine tuning. And last but not least with the fuel I am using and very good air filter maintanance, how long should I expect the piston and sleeve to last? After the 2 tanks I just put through the car, the engine is still tight. I love this engine, well I am babbling on Thank You very much for the good advice you guys provide. Have a good one.

low end is still rich. Don't change the shims.

Bottom end sounds rich. when you turn in the low end, richen up the high end and then make small adjustments. A rich bottom end can mask a lean high end.

Ofnaman : My s7 runs at 200 when just bashing but hit the track and warm that beast up fully and it will be 260 in a lap.We have 6 engines of various manufacturers and all run cool till track time and hard R's. But my S7 with 9mm carb is still the fastest. when my son drives it he is always spinning out on straights cause he cannot handle the power. But he can still beat me with with his Picco in race cause he can handle that power.
