I want to hear it from a pro,a veteran,a man who knows what he is talking about. My new worlds S7 has not been fueled up and broken in yet. Before I go poluting my R@B with something that is not going to run well,I want some second opinions on what fuel runs good for this engine. I mean does it matter what weather conditions there are,how about elevation. What is a good quality fuel that will keep my engine well lubricated, cool, and and tunable?

We have found that fuel preferences vary from region to region, but we have heard very favorable comments about the Byron's Race Series fuels...Race 2000 (20%) or Race 3000 (30%)...
If you use 30% fuel, remember to add a .1mm head shim to your engine...

A good compromise would also be Byron RACE 2500 (25%) fuel.

Ive been using Byron Race 2500 for a while in RB engines, and like David said is the best compromise, great power, you dont have to add any shim, 11% oil and Ive used Odonell and Tornado fuels too but Byron is better in my opinion. Great fuel

If I were to go ahead and use the 30% fuel, would I add an additional shim with the one that is allready in the engine. Or just the shim that is in the engine right now.

There are only two fuels I would ever run in my cars. Byrons or Odonell, I have tried many other types and these are the only two I trust to give consistent product from one bottle to the next. (I have never tried RB fuel) but if I had to choose and byrons and Odonell were two of the choices I would pick either of these.

Although I have had great success with Blue Thunder Race, I have tried virtually every major manufacturer of fuel and have found that O'donnel and Powermaster to be among the best. I personally prefer Powermaster and find it to give awesome engine performance/life and corrosion inhibition. Check out Powermasterfuels.com for some solid information.

F-16 car blend that is. I will try the Buggy 25% and see how it goes.

Well I went ahead and went with O'donnel fuel,I will wait and see how it goes,I usually use Blue Thunder but that was in the 10 scale days, were the engines were plentyfull and cheap. But let me tell you I decided to break my engine in at work last night. WOW! now I know why R&B does not make a pull start of this motor. Mr. S7 Worlds is tight. I decided to take the engine out and do some initial breakin with an air drill. Reinstalled then put it on the starter box,I had to take the piston to Bottom dead center just to get that little momentum going to get that bad boy to turn over. It finally came to life for a very concistant initial run for the first tank of fuel. Right now it is 4:54 a.m. and everything is on chargers, and this weekend I am going to tear up my track. Stay tuned.

Powermaster Car Formula 30% with one .1mm head shim has performed flawlessly for 2 years. It is also very consistant from batch to batch. It is a synthetic and castor blend that performs on and offroad.

So where do we get one of those shims? Am I damaging my engine right now by running 30% Odonnels with the stock shim the engine came with? I have a S7 eroupa

I have run over 2 gallons of 30% Byron through my C12 in a T-Maxx. I did not add a shim and the engine runs great. I'm at 800 ft altitude. I just make sure the carb is adjusted to keep her under 250°F.
