I have purchased an RB C4 Curcuit motor and i have problems when running it. After running the engine in and giving it a couple of hours use i am finding after a high speed run i back off but the engine wants to keep going (running fast). I find it alot worse once stoping at the line for 5 seconds or so and taking off then going to pull up agian it wants to keep reving hard. Sometimes the revs seem to go up and down before going back to idle. The engine is blowing plenty of smoke and is running very cool not to hot. The motor also idles very well when stoped not to high or low. The carby is also nice and free not blocked or getting stuck at all. Do you think I have a motor problem or could it be my radio gear. I have checked my radio gear and replaced the batterys but i still have the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated limited78@hotmail.com

If your rpm stays high after a high speed run(the straight) it indicates in general that the engine is too rich on the idle needle, lean out the idle needle more and you will notice that the rpm stays high all the time after the high speed run. If this is the case lower the rpm by closing more the slide(less air when the carburetor is closed) by unscrewing the air needle.
