I am running an X12 in my Associated NTC3, since the engines are mounted inline on these vehicles is it wise to rotate the cooling head for optimum cooling or should I leave it as is?

You can rotate it without any problem.

Thanks Rody, today I get my parts to complete the rebuild. Would it be wise to lube everything with after run oil prior to assembly?

Use just a little oil, do not overdo it, it will make the engine only more difficult too start when there is too much oil inside.
