I'm currently racing both nitro-offroad (using C6BB ofcourse) and electric onroad. As spring is aproaching I also took the plunge and went for nitro-onroad with v-one rrr.
But now i have one issue - which motor/pipe combo to get? I'm looking for two possible choices - absolute top off the line and something little bit more simple and more lasting then top off the line would be.
Rules i'm racing with specify this: 6 ports, including output Max carb venturi 5.50 mm Max channel in crankshaft 7.00mm.
Seems that top off the line would be RB V12 5 Ports tuned Rody RE/TG/SPT/SLD ceramique BB (01700-000515RC) (I would have to change venturi on this model, its 6.5 out of box).
best pipe seems to be 01751-401.
What manifold?
And what would be more durable engine choice?

I think u should use the Matrix RW .12 engine and EFRA 2611 pipe+header with it (E1752-2611)
I use this engine pipe combination in my Kyosho v-one RRR. Those who compete against me use Novarossi and JP 5 port engines. I have found 3 port engines to be better than 5 ports. The 3 ports have more bottom end power and a more useable powerband, also far better fuel economy.
The RB matrix RW is easily the best 3port .12 engine you can purchase today.
