When are they going to be available in the line up of engines in this site?

Are these engines novarrossi or sirio base?

We are waiting for a good confirmation concerning the final supply of the SpeedLine Matrix engines.
The are RB based engines.

As for where to order these, please ask your LHS from who you normally buy your RB Concept engines from.

Roland Strôm used a V12 Rody

We do not use the AAC sleeves in the Marix engines.

All the modifications made in the V12 Rody compared to the 430 engine are quite extensive and all handwork, this is why it is more expensive.

This is up to the customer to decide, we are proposing several solutions, after it is up to you to choose.

Fuel milage on modified engines is in general higher, this because the engines have more power and need for this a little more fuel.

The INS-Box reduces noise and you should be have a possibility to obtain one at your usual LHS or Dealer.

Hi Rody,

Do you know what pipe would be a good match for the RB Speedline Matrix R .12, running in a Serpent 720?

Thanks Rody,

Do you have any idea where to get hold of this pipe set E1751-195401 in the UK? I've noticed you do not have a distributer in the UK?! Does that mean you are looking for one?

Am I also right in thinking this set is a combination of the 401 pipe and 195 header?

Thank you in advance

Check out the following link for the distributor in the UK : http://www.rbproducts.com/mainEn.php?part=Distributors&pays=ENGLAND

This pipe combination should be available in your country, and yes you are right with what the combination is.

We are waiting for the final production to arrive, as soon as this has arrived then we will publish all the information about the Matrix on our website.

The carburetor has nothing to do with the engine being turbo or non turbo. This is related to the combustion chamber only.

Impossible to give you a preciese carburetor setup, there are too many factors which can alter these settings.

Please explain more in detail what your engine does and we can try to help you from there.

Dear Rody:
Have a question fron the land of the Incas. On the manual for the matrixRW, you suggest to change the main bearing after every hour of race? What is the service life of the main bearing?(I know it depens of many factors but for a person that taques all the fuel of the crankcase and use afterrun oil, and take apart the engine every month for cleaning)
Thanks and looking forward

Maybe the wording should be check and not forceably change..., our experience is that the main-bearing of the .12 engines are more sensible then the main-bearings of the .21 engines and that it could be better to check these on more frequent times. If the bearing still feels smooth then no need to change.

Are the shims use in the matrix the same shims use for the v12 series? I have shims for the v12 and I tried to use the on the matrix and they don't fit.

No, the shims of the Matrix and V12 series are not the same, please refer to the exploded view supplied with your engine.

So for 30% nitro it should be .4mm?
