No need to add the extra shim while using 25% nitro. I suggest you use the No. 6 glowplugs, but if it is very hot you can always try a No. 7

Use the universal running-in guidance you can find on our support pages in our website.

The P/S between the X12 and V12 have not really changed, the main change was the crankshaft, so you should not really find a difference in performances except that your P/S is new and so the engine will work better.

Hi Rody
Can I put a V12 main bearing into a X12 crankcase, and with that change can I use a V12 crank shaft?

No, this is not possible, the crankshaft diameter of the X12 is 11mm while the V12 is 11.5mm

So this means that the V12 crankshaft doesn't fit inside a X12 crankcase? Or is it the V12 bearing that doesn fit inside the X12 crakcase?

You cannot fit inside a X12 engine the crankshaft of the V12, this because the dimensions are not the same.

Rody

I have an engine that came with a 11.20mm shaft,
I want to put a 12.00mm shaft in would I have to change bearings, or is this not possible?

This is not possible. Also we never had a .12 engines with a shaft diameter of 11.2mm
