My crank from the V12 had it's pin worn down. A bud of mine donated me his busted LL5 at the P/S but it's crank is still in good shape.

The LL5's crank has this orange thingy in the intake port to smoothen the gas flow I suppose, Would this pose any problem or improvement with the V12?

This V12 has it's P/S changed not long ago and it would be a pity to let it be just a paper weight.

I do nto think this will be wise to do since I have no idea what the end result will be. I also never heard of the LL5 engine, what should this be?

It it the Novarossi's LL5 .12 engine supposedly the same dimension as your V12 engine. I have measured the LL5 and found all fits except for that orange epoxy thingy. The engine has now a new lease of life but I am concerntrating on my 1/8 on-road now so this V12 and my ol' mtx3 is more for fun rather than serious racing.
