I just got a v12 430 for my jato and was woundering how fast it will be? I had a sirio evo3 and it was pretty fast but I have see rb run and they look to run alot faster in the onroad cars. My old motor didnt last past 1/2 gal, had a bad sleeve. How many gals do you get out of a v12? I had a 2.5r I got 16 gals before it lost power.

You should have opted for the V15 engine, the engine has the same size and the same cylinder contents as the TRX engine. The V12 will perform well but due to the smaller contents you cannot compare with the performances.
How long an engine will last depends on how you treat it, carburetor setting and if you can keep dust outside the engine.

I have to run a .12 for are local racing.

I was breaking in the v12 to day and was woundering if 180f was to cold for the break in. If I leaned it a little (200f)it wouldn't make the four strok sound like the break in instructions say.
I think this motor will make more than enough power for my jato, even with it running super rich for break in it seems realy powerful. [Big Grin]

One other thing can you tell me where there is a RB dealer in Washington state? None of the local shops carry RB. I bought this one becuase I have see ws7II's run and was very impressed with them. I just wish I had the money to buy a ws7 and a truck to put it in.
Thanks for the quick reply.

I got the motor broken and started to tune it. It seems to have as much if not more power then my 2.5r did. I need to buy a good pipe for it still though.

This is the problem for us, because it is very difficult to make a pipe and manifold to fit under the body, there is very little space, not enough in my point of vieuw.
