I bought my Rody engine, but it doesn't have the composite carb. It also uses a standard plug. Is this some sort of older Rody V12? The mumber is. #1700-000415 How is this compared to the other Rody engines? I've heard Turbos are illegal again so I'm glad it's a standard plug. This will be my LAST .12 engine. I'm VERY happy with the performance and quality of RB. I can't wait to break it in.

Rody- Weird thing is this engine is labled Rody V12...not X12. So this be the first Rody V12 then or something right? The Roar and EFRA legal both have turbo plugs and Composite carbs. Mine has a std #4 plug and alum carb. Eh it's race legal anyway now.

Great! So techincally it will be as fast as the other Rody's with darker heatsink and composite carb. What's the stock needle settings? Mine was way off. There was no fumes coming out and the engine revved pretty high. I tried richening the needles, but it still sounded pretty lean. I stopped immediately to prevent further damage, because I want the best for my engine.

Hopefully thats it. I'll try it tomorrow unless anyone suggest something else. Right now I'm using Odonnels 20% fuel. Unfortunately we don't have any of that good stuff RB fuel so I can only use what I have.
