1. I just bought a brand new X12 Rody Modified(#1700-000215) and notice that the factory setting on the low speed needle was set to 5 turns!
Is it an error, or that 5 turns is really the way to go. I read on the RBConcept web site that the rich setting for the low speed needle is 2.5 turns.
2. What is the common after break-in setting on those carb ...just to give me an idea.
3. I have a 5.4mm insert in the air intake. I saw that you can buy optionnal one up to 6mm. What is the effect of those? Are they ROAR legal? Can we remove the insert completely?
Can you clarify it for me? I really want to break-in that engine well.
Thanks!

1) Could be there has been made a mistake at the factory. 2.5 turns is what we found best to start with.
2) Impossible to give you the ideal carb settings, this varies to much depending on where you are, what fuel you use, altitude, weather circumstances, etc...
3) You can always try and use a bigger venturi but your engine then is not legal anymore. I suggest you read the ROAR rules and you will see what is legal or not, after you can decide to do what you want.
