I'm currently in the process of setting up my Serpent 710. And in talking to the guys at Serpent USA the largest engine the chassis can handle without major modifications or unwanted strains is a small block of some sort. This car is not going to be for competition track use. Strictly for tinkering with. In doing my research on Nitro Engines I've found that there is a huge respect for the RB Concept and NovaRossi engines which evidently are manufactured in the same plant.
I'm tending to lean toward the RB Concepts engine because of Rody's backing. But I also recognize that with RB Concepts you also get a lot more options and engine choices then NovaRossi and other companies. Currently I'm thinking that for small blocks the X15 Turbo (Rody or Collari Edition) is going to be my best choice for Power, Speed, and RPM's but I'm still a little unsure. I guess what I'm looking for it very good get up and go and awesome top speed. Knowing that some of these things depend on setup and so on.
Can anyone confirm if I'm going down the right path and my assumptions are correct? Or if I should be looking at a different engine.
Thanks In Advance Marcus

Thanks For The Quick Reply Rody! One thing I have to say is... It's super imopressive how you take time to help people with their engine choices and help them with their questions!!
So in your mind for a 1/10th Serpent 710 Chassis a V15 Turbo would be my best choice? Do you make that engine in a Rody or Collari edition? And last but not least what manifold and pipe would you recomend for this engine keeping in mind I'm looking for balls to wall power here?
Thanks For The Replys!!!! Marcus
