I just purchased the 1700-230 from my local LHS. The motor did not come with any instructions in the box. When I went back, the only other RB was also devoid of instructions. Do you have an electronic copy you could send?

Sorry about that, must have been a packaging error.
As for the exploded view, you can find this one by going to the part# of the engine you have and clicking on the engine, this will give you the exploded view of that engine.

In the United States, these instructions are in the bottom of the box, under the thin lower layer of foam used to protect the engine...
We have done this to ensure that they remain in the box and do not accidentally fall out...
We do 100% inspection on these engines here to ensure that they have the instruction sheets in them, so give this little hiding place a look.

that's the first place I looked.. Found some stickers (which I was very excited about) but no instructions. For all I know, my LHS could have lost them... They are a little disorganized
Thank you for your help. Looking forward to running this motor.

Just printed out the exploded view and the instructions on my Color Laser printer... I made and extra set to put in the other engine box at my LHS. That way the next customer will have some too.
This small forum is the reason I chose the RB X12 over the MT12, SX12RE, OS12TR, etc. Keep up the good work.
