i think that by making the five port you actually made the transfer ports smaller, I measured the 3 port transfer ports with the 5 port transfer ports and they are the same in lenght and height. In my opinion the 3 port makes more power cause it has a straight long opening the five has 2 small openings. (IF YOU WERE TO COMBINE THE 2 SAMLL PORTS TO GET ONE DIMENSION YOU WOULD COME UP WITH A SMALLER PORT COMPARED TO THE 3 PORT). I had a 5 port and I changed it to a 3 port and I will tell you what a big difference in power, the engine is more responsive. Just curious on what you think about this theory of mine. [Cool Smoking]

It's not only about total port size, it's about flow and the turbulence of the mixture coming into the combustion chamber.
