i think that by making the five port you actually made the transfer ports smaller, I measured the 3 port transfer ports with the 5 port transfer ports and they are the same in lenght and height. In my opinion the 3 port makes more power cause it has a straight long opening the five has 2 small openings. (IF YOU WERE TO COMBINE THE 2 SAMLL PORTS TO GET ONE DIMENSION YOU WOULD COME UP WITH A SMALLER PORT COMPARED TO THE 3 PORT). I had a 5 port and I changed it to a 3 port and I will tell you what a big difference in power, the engine is more responsive. Just curious on what you think about this theory of mine.

It's not only about total port size, it's about flow and the turbulence of the mixture coming into the combustion chamber.
