I have deceided to purchase a x12t 5 port engine for my impulse pro. The question i have is regarding starter boxes. I read the some people are having problems getting the x12t 5 port cranked up. What starter box setup is recommended for this engine. Would be Serpent PowerStart starter crank over this engine ok? Thanks

We use a Serpent PowerStart to start our engines and do not find any particular problems, as long as you align the starterwheel of the starterbox correctly to the flywheel of the engine and that you take care the starterwheel is turning the right direction.
