Rody, Can you put a Standard Plug Button 1700-012 in place of a 1700-013 on a 1700-000300?
Basically what parts are interchangeable parts between a 3 and 5 port engines?

so does that mean I could potentially turn my 1700-200 into a 5 port pull start standard plug motor for my T-Maxx?
Specifically:
1700-050 block
1700-012 head button
1700-0355 piston/sleve
1700-061 Crank Shaft
1700-100A Carb
1700-155 Pull start parts
1700-082 " "
1700-154 " "
1700-153 " "
1700-151 " "
I suspect there may be an interference problem with the rear exhaust and the pull start? You should try it out and let us know if it works...
