Hi Rody, I am wondering whether the above combination match? Will it give better performance to my X12 engine as compared to 1751-EP? B'cos it's designed for the X15 size engine, right?
In fact, i am looking at 1751-EP. Unfortunately, LHS in S'pore does not carry it as he only has the X15 1851-TP set.
My 2nd question is, if this 1851-TP will fit in a normal 1/10 Scale car (ie V-One-R)?
3rd Question is, which of the pipe (1751-EP & 1851-TP) is the most ideal combination for X12?
Will it (ie 1751-EP set) be available in Singapore soon? Should i wait? Or i can go with the 1851-TP?
Kindly reply as i need to make up my mind b4 i get it tomorrow.
Million Thanks.

The E1851-TP does not really fit the X12 engines, so we do not suggest this combination. The other problem is that even if you want to fit the above combination it is indeed probably too long and will not fit into the car without touching the flywheel.
The best combination for this moment for our X12 engines is our E1751-EP.

Hi Rody, U mentioned that the X15 1851-TP tuned pipe does not really match the X12 3Port Turbo engine... May i know if this pipe would affect the engine's lifespan OR performance if i were to use this pipe for long term? Last Sunday, there was an Open class for 1/10th tourer here in S'pore, and Sam Cheng of Hobbylink walked away 1st and his fellow team mates using Impulse Pros. He used the X12 3 port turbo with the 1851-TP In-line set combination. The feedback was positive and this pipe not only produce smooth & higher top speed but also sound just sweet and nice... Thanks & awaits your reply.

Lets say it in other words, we did not make the #1851-TP for the .12 engines, so if you want to fit this pipe on a .12 engine you first need to use another gasket on the engine if you do not want the manifold to leak. The pipe system itself as you mention seems to work and normally will not change anything of the lifespan of the engine as long as the engines carburetor settings are tuned properly.
However the pipe used is not IFMAR legal because the stinger has a bigger diameter and so will perform better then the legal pipes which have a stinger with a smaller diameter.

Thanks Rody... I will get it as spares and use it for big sweeping track and suitable races... Just one more question, is there any chance that i can buy the 1751-EP In-line set here in Asia?
