Hi,
I just bought the Concept c12 with the 114 model #."Side Carb"
I have not installed it yet, but was wondering if I might have a problem with my stinger 360 header and exhaust.
I hate having to clean the gas off my car after every run with the side exhausts, so I bought the MIP.
In previous posts I saw that people were having problems with their exhausts.
Any help would be appreciated.
I hope I dont have to buy another pipe.....null

Indeed, we RB are always trying to let customers use the stuff we know works. There are so many things on the market available which do not forcably work very well on our engines and so to avoid these problems and customers getting frustrated we need to do this.

Now we can understand your motivations and suggest you just try..., however if you are having problems first try and solve it with your LHS, they should be able to help and try to find a solution for you.

Hello Rody, Love my RB's! I have 3, two x12's in my GT4w, and a turbo .15 in my Impact.

I recently stole the "outlaw" pipe off the 15 and put it onto my x12, it really ran great. Seemed like it revved easier on bottom end.

Also it appers that it is ROAR legal with the outlet pipe being smaller than 5.5 mm. Is it okay to run this pipe on my .12? Or do you think that the fatter, shorter, pipe would work better with some tuning?

The "outlaw" pipe has a bigger diameter stinger which explains the better performances.

However you say that the pipe you are speaking of is ROAR legal, if this is the case it cannot be an outlaw pipe then.

You can use both pipes if you can fit them on the car, it is just a matter of getting the best compromise for you with 1 of the 2 pipes.

From what I hear from the guys around my track, now any pipe that has an outlet of 5 mm is ROAR legal for 12 Touring. The pipe for the .15 class has to have an outlet of less than 5.5 mm.

The pipe I have on an Impact 4wd car is a RB pipe that says outlaw on the side, I can't find a number on it. It came with the car I bought that had a Turbo .15 in it. It is more slender than the 12 pipes.

This "OUTLAW" pipe has a quite big diameter of stinger and is not legal, so if you attend to an official race it will probably not be allowed.

No, sorry, we do not have such a pipe in our program for the .12 engines.
