Could you tell by how your engine runs if the plug # is too high... what would be the symtoms?

i.e. I run a RB #4 in my non-turbo X12, and was thinking of throwing in a #6, since this plug seems to run well in my X15.

If the plug# is too high the engine stalls easily at idle.
