will this plug work well with 25 to 30% nitro? and will it work well with that percentage of nitro in 85-100 degree weather? if not, what plug should i use in my EVO2, dont kill me for using a rossi, hehe.

i must say you do have balls to ask for info here, and not even lie about using a rb motor.

Hey MMM, I've run the 1055-4 with 20% and 30% Byron with no problem. The 1055-4 plug came with the RB C12 and I bought a couple before my LHS started stocking the 1056-4.
The 1055-4 plug body is black and the 1056-4 is shiny gold. The plug "wire" is of course silver on both. The LHS claimed the 1056-4 will run a little better, maybe a little hotter and last longer. Personally I think the only difference is one is black and the other is a neat shiny gold! What's your opinion, Rody?

I think that the #4 plug (black or gold) is too hot for the nitro content ant ambient temperature that you are running your NovaR. Try using a #6. You can run it leaner and not worry about burning the plug.

6 Gallons = 27 liters. Whooaaaoow I'd sure exchange my plug before that, as well as a few other parts of my engine. Rody recommends exchanging the conrod before 10 liters of fuel so there you go.

MMM, I've never run the #6 plug which is a colder plug than the #4. If it is really hot out I'd probably try the #6 like Alex W. recommended, as long as it idles okay for you. Either way, you'll be okay running 30%, just keep it a little rich and don't over-rev the engine. You'll love the added torque in that T-Maxx running the higher nitro content.

Anyone have any thoughts on running the MC59 in 80 deg F weather, high humidity and using Byron's Race 2000(20%, 12% oil) in an HPI racer 2? I have broken in the engine with 875 cc of fuel(recomended + some extra). I am now at 5 turns out on the main and 1.5 turns out on the low with a ~.5 mm idle gap. Seem to be running great,I'm just wanting to know if that RB 4 plug that came with the engine is hotter/colder and/or what is the best setup for the 1700-200 in humid conditions, with 20% nitro. It is my experience that the hotter plug is basically necessary in humid areas like the US midwest states. Any comments? Rody?

The glowplug #1055-4 is ideal to be used with 20% nitro, if it is humid or not it does not really matter, however if it is very humid, be aware to clean your engine after you have used it so no water will stay in the engine which can cause your engine-bearing to rust.
If you use more nitro I suggest you use a colder glowplug #1055-6
The other glowplugs we have in our program(gold) can resist better against higher temperatures.

What about the 1.5 turns out on the low end? Should I mess with the needle on the other side to make the stationairy needle 2 turns out? It's running good now. The idle was real rich and it would slow down after full throttle almost instantly. After I turned it in 1/4 it takes like 10 seconds to slow. For the fine tuning form now on, should I try to get it so that it doesn't slow? I could bump the idle speed up or continue leaning the low-end but I'm running out of adjustment there(<1.5 to go!).

If your idle needle setting is rich the rpm always goes down when the throttle is closed. When you close your idle needle and the rpm is higher after but always the same(it does not go higher nor does it go down), you just lower the rpm by closing more the throttle(unscrewing the airscrew).
