i have found that os a3 plugs work well in my EVO2, am i losing any performance using this plug? is it making it run hotter in any way? because all my LHS carries is MCCoy and OS plugs, and the mccoys dont work well at all.
and if i run my evo at 250-260 degrees farenheit consistantely, how many gallons can i expect out of it?
and does the Associated pipe work as well as the rb/nova pipes?

If your engine is tuned the way is should be for racing, on the edge, the plug will let go. They come apart and damage the engine. They are cheaper but not worth a messed up engine.

Maxx man, Using shorter OS plugs will increase combustion chamber volume decompressing the it a bit and thus losing a little power. Compare the length of an A3 and a McCoy for comparison. Your LHS should be able to get RB plugs if they get RB motors. RB plugs are really the best. Your engine temperature is as hot as you want to go and you should keep it at that as it will give you the best life expectancy. As for the Assoc. pipe, it is the best power producing pips I've found for my 1/10 scale truck and I've heard that the O'donnel is great also being a little less punchier and smoother.

OS plugs CHEAP?!?! No way!!! They are by far my favorite plug and I wish they made a long version. You just can't beat an OS in terms of quality. RB plugs do work better for RB engines though and thats what I would recommend.
As for which one, get a few and see what you like the best. There are just too many variables to tell you what plug you exactly need
