with the ws7t you will loose some bottom. to me the ws7 runs better, but that just me. i have not tried it in a truggy but those who have say go with the c6, i have ran the c6 in truggy as well, i still think the bottom could be a little stronger but it is fast.

I'm lucky I guess as I have a couple of S7s and a couple of C6s (I really like RB motors...) in my Hyper ST truggies. C6 is an awesome motor, good bottom end and pretty good up top as well. With the turbo button tuning can be tricky, but the economy is outstanding, it'll do ten minutes with ease now.
The S7 has less bottom end for sure, but really screams up top. On big, open tracks it's probably my favourite. Tuning is easier than the C6, but it is quite a lot thirtsier, I probably only get 7:30 - 8:00 per tank.
On the C6 I run a 2045 with short manifold, S7 is 2045 with the longer manifold, 13T bell on both (but the C6 would probably hold a 14 for a little more top end).

I ran a WS7 in a truggy and actually ran the 2020 pipe and 198 header and 7mm restrictor. Standard gearing it seemed to lack power down low but after regearing the truck it was fantastic. In a losi 8 T I ran 13 tooth CB and 50 tooth spur with the combo and it's fast!!! I hear a lot of people say the WS7 doesn't have bottom end.. To me it's two things.. Tuning and incorrect gearing. In electric if you don't gear your motor right you will struggle, to me the same goes in gas... You have to gear the car to match the power band of the engine and all engines are different. I have actually started running just the WS7 in my buggy and at tracks where I need a lot of RIP I run the 50 tooth spur on buggy as well. I tell you what, with a 50 13 gearing combo on a WS7 in an 8ight B that thing is a ROCKET!!!! I was worried I would get killed on the long straights but that is not the case at all. Also with the lower gearing the engine runs about 15-20 degrees cooler.. possibly because it isn't struggling on the low end.

In buggy the difference is about a minute of run time. 8 minutes to almost dry with a WS7 and I can go 9 on the C6. Truggy is where it made a difference that made me switch back to the C6. In Truggy I can get 10.5 minutes on a tank and with the WS7 I was just over 9 minutes. There were several things that went into that as well... with the WS7 I had to run 98 header and 2020 pipe to get good power, on the C6 I was able to run the 2045 which I feel gives better fuel economy. Finally I am at 5000 feet above sea level so it's very possible at sea level a WS7 and a 2045 combo could have acceptable power, and get close to the 10 minute range with a smooth throttle finger.
