I`m new in this forum but not using RB engines. I have been the very happy owner of a WS7-III for one year without any problems. So i decided to get again the same engine, but new.
With this one I`m having a great problems that putted me out of a final and also took me from the 3rd position tho the 9th in another final.
I'll try to explain as good as I can. I'm spanish so sorry for my language mistakes.
The problem in one race was, that the engine suddenly stopped and didn`t want to start again. Then we changed to an ultra hot plug and it worked, so i suposed it was because of the environment temp and a bad plug choice.
In the other race I tuned the engine perfect (just as you say in the instructions manual). Its been one year carburating an RB engine so I'm very used to its carburations. I know it was fine, and i left it a little rich in low rpm. The problem is, when i started running the engine was working great, but when it started getting temperature it started to lean in the low rpm, showing the same sintoms as if it was very lean tuned in the low rpm needle, but I know it was not lean, in fact, i tuned it a little rich so this couldn't happen. But it happened anyway...The engine stopped at 125º measured with exergen
What happens to this engine. I have two friends with the same engine...and the same problems...
I hope you can help us because if always been a great RB fan and I am a little bit dissapointed with this buying.
Thank you for the help.

I am assuming you bought the brand new one with the turbo plug.... if this is true you should try taking the normal button and plug from your old WS7 and try that. The Turbo plug makes the engines tuning gap much more narrow and it is also more sensitive to the outside temp and the humidity. Try the normal plug first, I have a feeling that will help you a lot.
